Refund Policy

Effective March 1, 2026

At CaptiVet, we want every veterinary professional to feel confident in their decision to use our platform. If CaptiVet is not the right fit for your practice, we offer a straightforward refund process with no questions asked.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All new paid subscriptions are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with CaptiVet for any reason within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, we will issue a full refund of your subscription fee. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to billing@captivet.com with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of your subscription purchase
  • The reason for your refund request (optional, but helps us improve)

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Annual Plans

If you cancel an annual plan after the 30-day money-back guarantee window, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription term. The pro-rated amount is calculated based on the number of full months remaining in your annual billing cycle. Pro-rated refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

BYOK API Charges

CaptiVet’s Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) plans allow you to use your own API keys for Deepgram (transcription) and Google Gemini (AI generation). API usage charges billed directly by Deepgram and Google are non-refundable by CaptiVet, as those charges are paid to third-party providers, not to us. For refunds on third-party API usage, please contact Deepgram or Google directly.

Free Trial

CaptiVet offers a 14-day free trial (30 days for referred users) that does not require a credit card. No charges are incurred during the trial period, and your trial can be canceled at any time with no obligation. If you do not convert to a paid plan, your account will simply expire at the end of the trial.
